Freedom Pop Popsicles

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup chopped blue raspberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup lemonade (preferably freshly squeezed)
  • 1 cup chopped cherries (pitted and chopped)
  • Popsicle molds (silicone molds work great for easy removal)
  • Galaxy Gas Freedom Pop N2O (for infusing)
  • Optional: Sweetener (like honey or agave, if desired)

Tools:

  • Galaxy Gas Advanced Pressure Regulator
  • Galaxy Gas Whipped Cream Dispenser
  • Mixing spoon
  • Freezer

Instructions:

  • Prepare the Fruit: Start by chopping the blue raspberries and cherries into small, bite-sized pieces. This will help them freeze evenly and create a delightful texture in your popsicles. If using frozen fruit, ensure it’s slightly thawed for easier chopping.
  • Layer the Fruit in Molds: Begin layering the chopped blue raspberries and cherries in your popsicle molds. You can alternate layers for a colorful effect or mix them together for a fun surprise with each bite. Aim for equal distribution to ensure every popsicle has a bit of both fruits.
  • Prepare the Lemonade: Pour the lemonade into the Galaxy Gas Whipped Cream Dispenser. If you prefer a sweeter popsicle, you can add a touch of honey or agave syrup to the lemonade before pouring it in.
  • Infuse the Lemonade: Securely attach the lid to the whipped cream dispenser. Use the Galaxy Gas Advanced Pressure Regulator to infuse the lemonade with N2O. This step not only enhances the lemonade’s flavor but also gives it a light, frothy texture.
  • Shake it Up: Shake the whipped cream dispenser vigorously for about 20 to 30 seconds. This ensures the N2O is well integrated into the lemonade, making it bubbly and refreshing.
  • Dispense the Lemonade: Carefully dispense the infused lemonade over the layered fruit in the popsicle molds. Fill each mold to the top, ensuring that the fruit is submerged but still visible through the clear lemonade.
  • Freeze the Popsicles: Place the filled molds in the freezer. Allow them to freeze completely for at least several hours, or ideally overnight, to ensure they hold their shape when removed.
  • Enjoy Your Popsicles: Once frozen solid, remove the popsicles from the molds. If they are difficult to release, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds to loosen them.
  • Presentation and Serving: Serve the popsicles on a warm day, and enjoy their vibrant colors and refreshing flavors. These popsicles are perfect for summer gatherings, pool parties, or just as a fun treat for yourself!

Tips for Customization:

  • Experiment with Flavors: Feel free to mix in other fruits like strawberries, blueberries, or even a splash of lime juice for a tangy twist.
  • Make Them Creamy: For a creamier texture, consider blending the fruits with yogurt or coconut milk before pouring them into the molds.
  • Layering Techniques: For added visual appeal, layer the fruits and lemonade in different patterns, or use a spoon to swirl them together before freezing.
